Deep Roots

Since 1997, Ariston, a family-owned company based in Gargagliani in the region of Pylos, has been offering a wide range of products, including balsamic vinegars flavored with various tastes.

From its inception, Ariston has been present in the United States, initially introducing extra virgin olive oil pressed cold and produced by the Doukas family in the state of Connecticut.

This unique balsamic vinegar is crafted from the finest Italian grape musts sourced from carefully selected grape varieties: The grape musts obtained from Trebbiano, Lambrusco, Sangiovese, Albana, Ancellotta, Fortana, or Montuni grapes are cooked together with 100% Italian red wine vinegar (made entirely from wine).

 

The resulting product is then aged for at least 60 days in oak barrels, following the I.G.P. (Protected Geographical Indication) regulations.

Afterward, the balsamic vinegar undergoes an infusion by cooking with the natural juices of fruits, which imparts astonishing flavors to this vinegar."
